# Bitcoin: Bear Market Continues as Macro Headwinds Build

2026 has been a bearish year for Bitcoin so far, and we are now approaching the middle of the year. Looking ahead to the next 6–7 months, I have identified three major support levels that could play a key role in determining Bitcoin's next long-term bottom.

From a macroeconomic perspective, the conflict in the Middle East has contributed to higher oil prices and increased concerns about inflation. If elevated energy prices continue, inflationary pressures could return to the U.S. economy in the coming months.

As a result, the Federal Reserve may delay interest rate cuts or, in a more hawkish scenario, even consider additional rate hikes. Higher interest rates typically reduce liquidity and risk appetite, which could lead to further capital outflows from the cryptocurrency market.

For this reason, Bitcoin may experience additional downside before establishing a durable bottom. A move into one of the three support zones shown on the chart, followed by a period of accumulation, could help identify the next major market bottom and create the foundation for a future bull cycle.
