Taking lead from our previous analysis, Bitcoin continues to behave largely in line with our expectations. While the broader Secular Bull Market remains intact, the current bearish correction is still unfolding and we continue to see no clear signs of a durable bottom.

The recent decline from the upper boundary of the corrective channel has reaffirmed the weakness of the current structure. Although the rate of decline has slowed, price action continues to favor a corrective environment rather than the beginning of a new bullish impulse.

Technical Picture

BTC remains inside a corrective structure.

The recent rally failed to establish a meaningful bullish breakout.

Momentum indicators continue to weaken.

RSI remains below levels normally associated with strong bullish trends.

No confirmed bottom formation is visible at present.

Outlook


The slowing pace of the decline suggests that the market may increasingly shift from a price correction to a time correction. This may create an environment where selective Altcoins outperform Bitcoin for short periods.

As a result, we may witness an Altcoin season, though our expectation is for a moderate and selective one rather than an aggressive market-wide rally. Strength is likely to remain concentrated in specific narratives and leading projects rather than across the entire Altcoin market.

Until stronger evidence of bottom formation emerges, rallies should continue to be viewed with caution.
