Ethereum – A Stronger Move, But More Downside Ahead?
Ethereum has recently shown stronger price momentum, reinforcing my belief that it could be one of the most interesting assets to watch in the next crypto cycle.
If the next cycle develops as expected, I believe Ethereum could potentially offer 10x+ upside from a future cycle bottom. However, before thinking about those targets, I believe the market may still have a significant bearish phase ahead.
Ethereum is currently trading around $2,500, but my current downside target is below $1,200.
My scenario is that Ethereum could first form a pivot around the $2,500 area and then begin another major bearish move.
What makes this setup particularly interesting is the possibility that Ethereum could decline faster and more aggressively than Bitcoin, given its higher volatility and stronger momentum characteristics.
The next 6 months could be extremely challenging for the crypto market, and I believe patience and risk management will be more important than ever.
For me, the current focus is not on chasing short-term upside, but on identifying the potential next major accumulation zone.
