Bitcoin has bounced.

That doesn’t automatically mean the risk is gone.

Our market dashboard is still showing a defensive backdrop.

Three things stand out.

1. Altcoins Still Aren’t Participating

The recent bounce hasn’t changed the bigger picture.

Risk appetite outside BTC remains weak.

Until capital starts moving back into the broader market, I’m cautious about calling this a healthy recovery.

2. The Current Structure Still Looks Familiar

When I compare today’s market structure with previous cycles, the closest match still resembles mid-2022.

That doesn’t mean history repeats.

It simply reminds me that liquidation-driven markets often recover more slowly than people expect.

Some signals are stabilizing.

Others remain defensive.

For me, this isn’t an environment to chase.

It’s an environment to wait for better confirmation.

Bottom Line

Markets usually bottom before everyone believes they have.

They also produce plenty of convincing rallies before the trend truly changes.

That’s why I’m still focusing more on risk than return.
