Yesterday, after the appearance of a limit buyer on a false breakout of the local level, a market buyer also stepped in, pushing the price towards the previously identified resistance zone at $67,200–$68,000 (mirror zone).

Strong selling pressure emerged in this area, clearly visible in the cumulative delta. However, it did not result in a meaningful downside move. As a result, a new local range has formed between $67,200–$68,000 and ~$66,600 (level of maximum absorption of selling pressure).

At the moment, our expectations remain unchanged — we still anticipate a move towards the $65,000 level. Before that, the price may consolidate around $66,600 or form a false breakout of the local high followed by another test of the $67,200–$68,000 zone, if the absorption level is not broken by sellers.

The current scenario would be invalidated by a strong breakout above the resistance zone. In this case, we would still consider a potential downside continuation, but with increased caution.
