BTC Outlook 8th April 2026

What you're seeing here is my documentation of the #BTC range that started in February. I really like using these Price Action Maps to keep track of the bigger picture.

What is the roadmap telling me right now?
For that I'm using Price Action and Volume Profile to derive the most likely next scenarios.

Tonight's news spike liquidated a weak short zone at 71.6k. On the Volume Profile you can also see a Low Volume Node behind that short zone — which is exactly why it was defined as a weak zone.

BTC has now attacked the VAH (Value Area High) of the entire range from February through today and is now looking for support here. Over the past two months, moments like these have been potential setups to fall back toward the POC — the fair price. But each time, new swing highs were printed before the move back toward the POC — and that hasn't happened yet this time.

So the question now — and you can see it in the four arrows:

Green arrows: Does BTC find stability around 72k to continue pushing toward 73.5k or 76k, forming a new swing high before the correction comes?

Red arrows: No stability is found, spot and futures let BTC fall back toward 69k–66.5k to build up for another attempt?
