ETH's stuck under a downtrend bias on the 4H, price sitting at 1855.95 with EMA21 (1866.58) and EMA55 (1878.77) stacked above as layered resistance. The last confirmed break of structure was bearish at 1856.88 about 15 bars back, and price has spent that time chopping in the lower half of the volatility band between 1829.71 and 1903.44. The swing high at 1898.50 from 8 bars ago is still intact, and so is the swing low at 1822.06 — a coiled range with the bearish structure still calling the shots.

Why it matters: with EMA55 sloping over price and the trend backbone rejecting every push, rallies into 1866-1878 have been where sellers show up. Until we see a clean reclaim of that EMA55, the path of least resistance stays lower, and the BoS level around 1857 flips into a ceiling on any bounce attempt.

The setup I'm watching: a rejection at EMA55 (1878.77) or a failed retest of the 1898.50 swing high keeps the bearish leg live. Alternatively, a 4H close back above 1898.50 with ATR buffer would flip the structure and force a rethink.

Invalidation: a decisive 4H close above 1898.50 — that voids the bearish read.

Targets: 1829.71 — band lower edge and first reaction zone. 1822.06 — the open swing low, structural test. 1797 area — cushion below if the swing low gives way toward the window low at 1597.

Setup: Rejection at EMA55/1878 or failed retest of 1898.50 swing high keeps the bearish BoS in play.
Invalidation: 4H close above 1898.50 voids the setup.
