Bitcoin is back at one of the most important ranges on the chart, and buyers are still trying to defend support near $63.7K. Sellers, however, keep rejecting rallies around $66.5K. Traders are paying close attention to this zone because several failed breakouts on both sides have created a buildup of trapped positions that could fuel a much larger move once the range finally gives way.
Institutional demand has improved during the same period. Morgan Stanley's spot Bitcoin ETF, MSBT, has already attracted more than $400 million in assets since its launch in April. Roughly $200 million came from self-directed investors before financial advisors began actively introducing the product to clients.
The ETF also charges a 0.14% sponsor fee, which is one of the lowest among spot Bitcoin ETFs and gives it a pricing advantage against larger competitors.
We took a look at the Bitcoin charts, and the short-term picture still looks slightly positive. The BTC price was trading near $65,016, which is about 0.8% above the 4-hour 100-period SMA at $64,503.
The RSI was holding around 53.44, showing mild bullish momentum without pushing into overbought territory. The daily trend is still more cautious because the BTC price remains about 6.5% below the 100-day SMA at $69,561.
On-chain market-cap data also supports the consolidation view. Glassnode shows Bitcoin's market capitalization moving between roughly $1.29 trillion and $1.33 trillion during the measured period, which indicates capital has stayed relatively stable instead of flowing aggressively into or out of Bitcoin.
The next move could come down to whether buyers can finally push the BTC price above $66.5K or whether sellers manage to force a break below $63.7K. A confirmed breakout could open the door to the upper-$60K region, but a loss of support would bring $63K and $62.25K back into focus.
